The Law of Diminishing Returns

All components of optionality face diminishing returns: after some point, the advantages gained start to level off. For example, as a newbie fitness training may reap massive gains, but the improvement slows as time passes.

In practice, this means that we need to be aware when we’re hitting diminishing returns, and redirect efforts towards areas of low-hanging fruit.
